What tasks will you be doing?
In this job you will be the spider between customer and internal organization. By analyzing customer demand and setting a production plan you translate the customer demand to the internal organization. A thorough Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is one of the most important business management processes. A well-designed S&OP enables a company to look ahead to optimally manage an organization, supported by forecasts. If you do not have a forecast from the customer, you try to make an estimate yourselves and process this into the systems. You make sure all customer requests are properly answered and you do oversee the whole customer ordering process. As a first contact for our customers you gain trust and build a customer relation. You follow customer orders internally. You make sure our ERP is up-to-date and our contracting tool as well. Beside you need to plan the material purchase optimally in advance, so that you can control your working capital. Another aim is to make sure the whole company is aware of the importance of S&OP. It covers the entire value chain (lead times / turnover rate / stock).
What competence do you need?
You are a team player and a problem solver for our customer and internal organization. You are a communicative person with a customer focus. You are accurate and analytic in your work and that of others. You have a commercial and technical interest. You have good experience in Excel. You have good written communication skills in English and German. We request a bachelor in supply chain management or similar. Previous job experience is an advantage but as a starter this can be a exciting job for you.
